What is The Ruck Shack Discord?
The Ruck Shack Discord is a growing online public community created by Ruck Rucker for general conversations through voice chats and sharing your content in various channels of the server. We support our motto "Good Vibes and Positive Energy" and encourage users to make friends, share stories, and network with the online world. The Discord Server and website also serve as a support network for it's users. All are welcome - we just ask you respect the rules and members of the community.
Shack History:
I started The Ruck Shack Discord Server in 2020 and has been growing steadily since. After spending most of my life online on various chat programs I decided I wanted to create a community that I have control of the overall energy. I grew tired of being in video chats and hearing users troll others, being hateful, hurtful and disrespectful. We do not support this, and it is the opposite of what in my community. I have found several friends and users who have been very helpful in helping to moderate.
In 2023 we launched the website, continuing to grow and expand so that users can still be included in The Ruck Shack even if they do not have the Discord platform. We are not concerned with how many users we have and we are not competing to be the best. The Ruck Shack has a goal of growing a strong, friendly, positive community that users enjoy spending time in. We can use your help by telling your friends and followers about TRS.
About me - Ruck Rucker:
I am 34 years young, strong, and motivated in life to reach more of my goals. I have been a busy man my whole life, reaching Eagle Scout at age 17, Kung Fu black belt at the same age, and enlisted in the United States Army at 19. I deployed to Afghanistan at age 21 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. By age 28 I was managing a sober living home for disabled veterans and learning to train service dogs for veterans. I am currently working on several projects which include building computers and personal data server, a Ford E350 bus conversion, and a 6'x6' indoor marijuana garden.
Rules Of TRS:
We have a lot of rules in The Ruck Shack, but that is simply because if they are not stated then users tend to test what is acceptable. To keep it simple, be respectful of all users. The community is like my house, so take your shoes off. Meaning conduct yourself appropriately, be kind to yourself and others. We are a marijuana friendly server, no use of other drugs on camera.
